Review No.1 : Natsume Yuujinchou

Natsume Yuujinchou, is about Natsume Takashi who has inherited the ability to see spirits. He has also gotten a Yuujinchou, a book containing the names of spirits his grandmother (Natsume Reiko) had bullied and made them her servant (?) . The story goes on the daily life of Takashi and his encounter with the different spirits, some requesting to get their name back from the yuujinchou and some others trying to get hold of the yuujinchou.

Natsume also had this " bodyguard " Nyanko Sensei in the form of a chubby cat with orange and grey patterns on it, while its true from is a giant wolf like creature called Madara. Nyanko sensei promised to protect natsume from the yokai until he natsume dies and he would inherit the yuujinchou after natsume dies.

As i see it, nyanko sensei has a totally different personality when he is in the cat form compared to his original form. Nyanko sensei is like some ojisan that nags, drinks and does nothing much whereas madara is like the savior of every episode, saving all the trouble natsume get into.

Natsume Yuujinchou currently has 4 seasons. It does not really has a main story plot, a little similar to Jigoku Shoujo series and the stories gets boring sometimes. It may be entertaining at first but I find it abit hard to finish 4 seasons at one shot because the stories gets too cliche sometimes and it may be a bit too repetitive at times. It is not really an anime that is worth watching at this age since there are so many better animes right now, maybe if you are maniac that has finished most animes around then maybe this is worth a try to pass your time.

I rate this anime a 6.5/10. It is not a lousy anime but i really gets repetitive and boring at times.
